In Other Championship Games...
WLYF sends out a big congratulations to our other two teams who participated in their Championship Games:
Here's to great seasons!
For specifics on their games, check out the 2012 Playoff Bracket page.
GAME DAY REMINDER
We would like to remind all those involved with our program, from our players, coaches, volunteers to our fans to please esure you treat our game officials with the utmost respect during &
after our games. Please refrain from any innappropriate behavior or commentary directed towards the refs, as the ONLY person who is permitted
to engage with the referrees is each team's Head Coach.
We understand that there will be good calls & bad calls throughout the course of the game, but yelling at the referrees, etc. only makes the situation worse and sets a bad example for our
players. We appreciate your help in improving this aspect of our games.

A Great Time to Think About Player Safety
As we roll into our game schedules, it's a great time for everyone (coaches & parents) to keep player safety in their minds. All our teams' coaching staffs are trained & certified for
handling concussions, CPR & general first aid and will put player safety as their first priority.
We have put together a Player Health & Safety page and strongly encourage all our families to review
the materials on this page to ensure that we're all more prepared to recognize & address any safety or medical issues that may occur as we go through the season.
